Brief report of the event:

The inaugural program commenced at 9:00 am with an invocation by Dr. Mubashira, post-graduate student from the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, which was followed by the welcome address by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Prathap M.S. Dr. K. Harish Shetty, Professor from Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, introduced the Chief Guest for the Day to the Audience.

Our Chief Guest Dr.C.V Pradeep was Felicitated by the Dignataries.

Prizes were awarded to the winners of the Doodle, E-Poster, Reel and Quiz competitions by the Chief Guest Dr.C.V.Pradeep. The Presidential address was delivered by Dean of Faculty, Prof Dr. Sham.S. Bhat. The dignitaries along with the faculty members and post-graduate students of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics cut a cake to celebrate Cons Endo Day. Our Chief Guest, Dr C.V.Pradeep shared his insights and experiences. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Samreena, Lecturer in Department of Conservative and Endodontics. The Chief Guest was presented with Momento and Certificate as a token of appreciation. The Quiz competition began at 11:30 am and Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Events Organized :

• Doodle competition was held on 1st March in Yenepoya Dental College for all students and faculty on the topic 'Super Dentists, Saving Smiles'. The sessions were judged by Prof.Dr.Harish Shetty.

• E-Poster competition was on-going from 28th February to 3rd March for Post Graduate students on the topic 'Next Gen Dentistry : Embracing Technology in Dentistry'. The Posters were judged by Prof.Dr.Prathap M.S and Dr Sreegowri.

• Reel competition was held for all students and faculty and was on the theme 'A Day in the Life of the Tooth' and were judged by Dr. Aravind Kudva

• The Quiz was held on 5th March and was a 'Brain Banter' session for the students and faculty members.
