The Department Of Prosthodontics focuses on restoring the function & aesthetics of dental and oral tissues using state of the art technology, like Computer Aided Designing. This department is involved in rehabilitating complete and partially edentulous patients with removable prosthesis, fixed prosthesis and implant supported prosthesis. We also rehabilitate Oro-facial defects using maxillofacial prosthesis and treat temporomandibular disorders using specific devices. The department emphasises on imparting comprehensive knowledge & skills to the undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Undergraduate clinical training includes the fabrication of Partial and complete denture prostheses. Diagnosis and treatment planning for fixed prosthodontics on dental simulators.
The postgraduate clinical curriculum in addition also includes Diagnosis, treatment planning and fabrication of implant-supported prosthesis, Maxillo Facial Prosthesis and full mouth rehabilitation. Diagnosis, treatment planning and management of Tempero Mandibular Dysfunction.
