On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry in collaboration with NSS Unit-1, Yenepoya Dental College, organized an E-Poster Making Competition for the undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty of the college. The theme for this year was "Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response."
A total of 71 students actively participated, showcasing their creativity, awareness, and commitment to HIV/AIDS education and stigma reduction. All participants were awarded e-certificates in appreciation of their enthusiasm and effort. The top three winners of the competition were recognized and awarded.
The entries were evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges:
- Dr. Anupama Rao, Additional Professor, Department of Periodontology
- Dr. Soniya Adyanthaya, Additional Professor, Department of Oral Pathology
- Dr. Shruti Nayak, Additional Professor, Department of Oral Pathology
The competition served as an effective platform to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS, stimulate student engagement and reinforce the significance of collective effort in transforming the global AIDS response.
