White Coat Ceremony was organized by Yenepoya Dental College on 11.11.2025 to formally welcome the third year students into the clinical phase of the dental profession. The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra, while the Vice Principal Dr Hasan Sarfaraz extended a warm welcome to the gathering.

Dr. Sham S. Bhat, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, administered the professional oath, emphasizing the values of compassion, integrity, and responsible patient care. Dr. Akhter Husain, Professor Emeritus, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an insightful lecture on Empathy and Effective Communication Skills in Dental Practice. This was followed by a talk from Dr. Maji Jose, Dean, Student Affairs, who spoke on Ethics and Etiquette in Dental Practice.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Program Coordinator, Dr. Mallika Shetty. The event was successfully organized in association with the Student Council members, reflecting teamwork and dedication in welcoming the new cohort of dental professionals.
