Alumni Meet

The Department of Periodontology, Yenepoya Dental College, hosted its Alumni Meet on Saturday, 9th August 2025, at the YDC Auditorium. Thirty-two alumni from various batches came together, turning the day into a warm and memorable reunion for the YDC perio family.

The gathering was graced by Dr. Shripathi Rao, former Dean of YDC and currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), as the chief guest. In his inspiring address, Dr. Rao lauded the professional milestones achieved by the alumni and underscored the value of maintaining a lifelong connection with the alma mater.

The programme began with a formal welcome, followed by heartfelt sharing sessions where alumni revisited cherished memories and reflected on their professional journeys. Lively interactions between faculty and former students added to the spirit of camaraderie.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving participants with a renewed sense of pride and belonging. Beyond rekindling old friendships, the meet also opened doors for future collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and a stronger alumni network.
