Report on Platelet rich fibrin - preparation and application"

Conducted a workshop on "Platelet rich fibrin - preparation and application" on 11 th July 2024; this event was sponsored by DST - SERB Government of India. The Inaugural program started at 9:30. am. With a prayer, Dr Rajesh K.S., Professor and Head, Department of Periodontology welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest for the program was Dr. Rekha P.D., Deputy Director Yenepoya Research Centre Yenepoya (Deemed to university) and it was presided by Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra, Principal, Yenepoya Dental College, Dr. Sham S Bhat Dean faculty of dentistry, Yenepoya Dental College was also present for inaugural program. Chief guest was introduced by Dr. Belim Wasim Siraj and the introduction of the resource persons was done by Dr. Sneha R. Bhat . The presidential address was delivered by the Principal, Dr. Laxmikanth Chatra. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Vinita Boloor. The Inaugural program concluded at 10.30 am with the national anthem.

The Resource persons Dr. Vijaya Kumar K. and Dr. Anupama Rao Additional Professors from the Department of Periodontology Yenepoya Dental College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) delivered the lectures in two sessions, this was followed by a demonstration of the preparation of Platelet rich fibrin and its applications. There was a good interaction during and after the programme, which was well appreciated by the participants. The programme was attended by 38 delegates who are included research scholars and postgraduate students and faculty of Department of Periodontology. The program ended by 1.00 pm.

The Feedback on the programme was collected from the all the participants and the response was good to excellent. E - Certificate has been awarded to all the participants.
