Report on ITI Yenepoya College Institutional Study Club Meeting held on 24th June 2026 at Yenepoya Dental College.

The ITI Yenepoya College Institutional Study Club successfully organized a Study Club Meeting on Wednesday, 24th June 2026, at the Centre for Implantology, Yenepoya Dental College. The program witnessed active participation from ITI members.

The session focused on "Prosthetic Materials and Occlusion in Implants" and was delivered by Dr. R. Hariharan, MDS, Prosthodontist & Implantologist and ITI Fellow. The lecture covered various prosthetic materials used in implant dentistry, their clinical applications, and the importance of occlusal considerations for long-term implant success. The session was interactive and provided valuable clinical insights to the participants.

A live intraoral scanning session using the iTero Element 5D Intraoral Scanner was also conducted. The scanning procedure demonstrated the digital workflow involved in obtaining accurate digital impressions and highlighted the role of intraoral scanning in contemporary implant dentistry.

The ITI Study Club Meeting proved to be academically enriching and clinically relevant, contributing significantly to the professional development of the participants and enhancing their understanding of modern implant prosthodontics and digital dentistry.
